ACU Football Club was founded in 2018 as Australian Catholic University's first community sports club. ACU FC plays in the Football Canterbury competition in Sydney's Inner West. Inspired by the construction of Barker Road (the university's FIFA-standard synthetic pitch) the club was established to provide a football program that serviced both the student body and local community, with the aim of promoting female participation.
ACU Football Club teams play on Saturdays and Sundays through the winter football season. Students, staff, alumni and community members are encouraged to enquire about playing with us.
ACU Football Club train and play on the football grounds at the ACU Strathfield campus, which is home to a beautiful synthetic playing field and additional grass turf pitch.
Students and community members alike are encouraged to register to play!
ACU students can save on a full priced registration. PLUS in your first season with us there is a further discount available!
