Thank you for your interest in joining the executive committee of the ACU Brisbane Football Club.

An exciting time for Football in Brisbane as we look to the future with Football Queensland and opportunities to lead the club to higher levels than previously attained.

The sport club committee can have up to seven committee members, including four main roles and three general committee members. It’s important or all committee members to be impartial leaders, communicate effectively, and set an example of positive behaviour and attitude for the club to follow. All committee members will be trained by ACU Sport. Duties of all committee members include:

President:
Main responsibility to ensure the club sets and meets its goals and objectives for the year and abides by the policies set out by ACU Sport

Vice-President:
Main responsibility to assist the President in ensuring the club meets goals and objectives, and steps in when the President is unavailable

Treasurer:
Main responsibility to keep track of club finances and ensure all members have paid

Secretary:
Main responsibility to manage the administration of club registrations and communications. Organize and distribute meeting agendas and minutes

General Committee Member:
Main responsibility to assist in the general administration of the club, where assistance is needed most. This may include Social Media, Fundraising, Uniforms and Merchandise. It is the responsibility of the committee to liaise with ACU Sport Staff in choosing the responsibilities of the General Committee Member. All other roles must be fulfilled prior to a General Committee Member being elected.

Team Manager:
Main responsibility to communicate with team players, encourage a positive team atmosphere on game day, and report any injuries or player misconduct to the committee. All other roles must be fulfilled prior to a General Committee Member being elected.
