About the workshop: Fetal monitoring during labour is a vital midwifery skill, yet the evidence behind the practices of CTG use and intermittent auscultation are not often taught. Dr Kirsten Small is an obstetrically trained educator and researcher. Her PhD research focussed on the use of central fetal monitoring. Kirsten's goal is to ensure all women are provided with accurate information about their options for fetal monitoring. She lives on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.
