What's next for ACU Choir and Orchestra?
There are now discussions underway about a possible year-end concert (2025) involving the choir, orchestra, Music class cohorts, Br Isaac Webb and the Gregorian chant scholars, Sr Angela and the Missionaries of God's Love (MGL) Sisters, and some new student clubs/societies. Should this proceed, we anticipate a combined grand finale, with rehearsals starting in October. Stay tuned for further updates.
Looking ahead to 2026, the next Big Sing is likely to be in semester 2, 2026, aligning with a new Community Engagement unit for 3rd year Education students (undergrad). The unit will focus on Social Justice. Anyone can still be involved in the Big Sing, of course. Students enrolled in the unit will be able to select the Big Sing for their unit engagement.
