Many of you would have received a very delayed message recently (intended to go out on 12 July). Due to a problem with ACU Life's email server, "sent" emails were "hanging" in send-mode for about 5 days before being released to recipients. Hopefully you'll receive THIS message today (19 July).

Marketing
Ticket sales are now LIVE in Humantix. Use access code ACU to get a $5 discount on any tickets. (ACU ID to be shown 'at the door'). There are some final edits being done with the poster (designed by our very own choir member Alia!) which will be shared soon. Many thanks to Lisa and Josh for their work on the ticketing site and poster.
Orientation Day Tues 23 July - STALL and REHEARSAL
Stall -- can you help? We have a STALL from 9am to 3pm. Helpers are needed to be there for an hour or so, especially during the afternoon. RSVP to the "event", which includes a response to let us know if you can be rostered on for the stall to hand out flyers and talk about the BIG SING project. (I'm not 100% sure where our stall will be located but I'll send another message when we find out!)
Rehearsal on Orientation Day: we will have a rehearsal from 12PM for about 45 minutes and hopefully do some recruiting, too! We'll be in the Urban Theatre as usual, building 421 ground floor at the corner of Victoria Pde and Napier St.
Flinders Fringe Winter Warmer - Sat 27 July
We are rehearsing with combined choirs in Flinders at an Open Rehearsal (with paying guests) on Saturday morning, 27 July, 10am - 12:30pm. This is Open Rehearsal as part of a local event, which is raising funds for a local charity supporting people who are homeless. Rides are available from (and back to) FRANKSTON STATION if you can get yourself there by 9am. RSVP through the Event where you can indicate if you need a ride. Even though we have an 'audience', it will be very informal and fun. Just come as you, but please DRESS WARMLY as the heating isn't great in the church.
Extra rehearsals coming up soon at ACU
In addition to the scheduled Saturday afternoon rehearsals (Aug 10 and Aug 17, 1-4PM), we are likely to be rehearsing regularly on Thursdays at 11AM in the Chapel (Daniel Mannix Building, Ground Floor). This will be confirmed soon, plus a rehearsal each week at the end of the day on Mondays or Tuesdays.
