Uplifted Soul: Sacred Music & The Power of Hope
Description: Live performances from a diverse range of staff and students, with stories on how music lifts the soul and leads to hope. Including performances led by Dr Kathleen McGuire, Br Isaac Webb, Sr Angela and the MGL Sisters.
Location: Urban Theatre, St Teresa of Kolkata Building, ground floor (corner of Victoria Pde and Napier St). Time: 12.30pm – 1.00pm

Our 10-minute performance will entail one piece, plus remarks from one of our participants about how music/Big Sing embodies "hope".
Schedule:
- 11:30am - 11:50am - quick rehearsal at the Urban Theatre (location to be confirmed). NOTE: 12:00pm - There is a separate event between our rehearsal and our event -- Cultivating Mission: Discovering the ACU Garden led by Campus Dean Krista Maglen. You could stay for it or go away and return at 12:30pm.
- 12:30pm - Our event begins. I believe we will be the final item.
- 1:00pm - End

If we need an encore, we'll do When the Saints Go Marching In
I will bring lyric sheets. We will rehearse promptly 11:30am as noted above.
INSTRUMENTS: If you play an instrument and need sheet music and a music stand, please let me know and I will organise this for you. There will NOT be a piano.
Attire: No special attire is needed for this performance.
