First Peoples Building Excellence Awards

💡 Start-Up Award – Provides $500 to support new first-year Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students with study-related purchases.

👕 Practicum Uniform Award – Provides $500 to assist new first-year Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students with the cost of a compulsory practicum uniform for the following programs:

  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • Bachelor of Midwifery
  • Bachelor of Paramedicine
  • Bachelor of Arts/Design Innovation and Technologies

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the First Peoples Building Excellence Awards, students must have:
✔️ A Confirmation of Aboriginality and/or Torres Strait Islander descent on record or
✔️ A statutory declaration and a community support letter.
