Mission
The proposed McAuley Education Society seeks to both emobdy and advance ACU’s mission. Through our initiatives, we aim to create a scholarly community where our pre-service teachers can extend their learning and professional preparation, as well as fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where each student’s unique strengths and perspectives are valued. The society aims to encourage reflective practice, ethical leadership and is committed to acting in truth and love. We will contribute to the common good by engaging in service opportunities, supporting the development of our members, and promoting education as a force for good in society. By hopefully providing professional development, networking and social events, the McAuley Education Society will strengthen the University’s commitment to forming graduates who are not only skilled educators but also socially responsible citizens.
