CV Workshop + Professional Photos
Hello everyone,
Brisbane Nursing Society would like to announce our next event. We will again be hosting a CV Workshop that will include professional headshots you can use for your LinkedIn profiles (or however you wish to use them). Tina Donaghy (Careers Advisor, specialising in health sciences) will show attendees how to make amazing clinical CV/résumés and cover letters designed for graduate nursing roles. You will get one on one time with an industry nursing application expert, so that you have a competitive edge come grad application time.
When: Tuesday, 6th May
Time: 10am to 1pm
Where: On campus (room details to be emailed to attendees closer to the date).
Cost: free for BNS members, $12 for non-members (drinks & snacks provided).
We always get great feedback when we host this event. It is particularly beneficial for those students in their final year at university. However, we find it helpful for nursing students in all years. This is because, if you know what you will need come grad time, you can plan and network early on, instead of the last minute scramble. Grad applications usually open in July, so this event is not to be missed.
