World Delirium Awareness Day + Coffee on Campus
World Delirium Awareness Day is an annual event that is held in March to raise awareness about delirium and its impact on patients, families, and healthcare systems. The day is hosted by the international Federation of Delirium Societies, iDelirium. It is intended to bring attention to the importance of early recognition and intervention of delirium, and to raise awareness of the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in the field. The next World Delirium Awareness Day is March 13, 2024.
Brisbane Nursing Society will be hosting a coffee event, on campus, to talk about WDAD. Free coffee (tea & hot chocolate too) will be available for everyone. Plus there will be exclusive giveways for BNS members as well.
When: Wednesday, 13th March
Time: 8am to 12.30pm
