As an officer of an ACU Life group you agree to help manage the following:
ACU students and staff must use ACU credentials to access the platform.
Students: Correct student email format - first name.last name@myacu.edu.au. The S00 student email addresses are not integrated with this platform.
Staff: Correct staff id format - first two letters of first name and last name
Community/Guest: Users accessing the platform with a guest account have restricted access.
If you have a ACU student or staff who have accessed the platform using a personal email, please email aculife@acu.edu.au so we can merge these accounts. Please be prepared to supply name, personal email used and ACU email.
Students and staff must opt-in to join your group, meaning they need to click “join.” There are several exceptions to this rule including ACU programs that have established memberships such as Connect2Uni.
Student managed groups: Comms are sent to group members only.
DO NOT emails send to “all contacts” as this will send anyone who has clicked on a form, event or interacted with your group page in any way.
As an officer, you agree to read the ACU Life Basic style guide located in the documents folder.
