We're so happy you're here! :)

The idea of writing up a newsletter has been circulating for a little while now within the Society but we finally built up the courage to make it happen! We can't wait to make this a new monthly tradition!

1st Years - We all hope that you had an exciting and not so scary first semester of uni!

2nd Years - We hope that you are all getting back into the swing of things!

3rd Years - We hope that semester 1 wasn't too tricky to navigate but we are excited to see your beautiful faces walking around campus

And finally, 4th Years - You're on the home stretch, congratulations!

So from all of us, welcome to Semester 2 of 2021!

UPCOMING EVENT:
SAVE THE DATE!

Find Your Futures
24th August 2021 6pm

Find Your Futures is a personalised journey into your future world of Speech Pathology. Created by Speech Pathology students for Speech Pathology students, this is not your typical careers event or expo — using current interests, strengths and skills as a starting point with future-focussed employers in Speech Pathology as a guide, you will leave #FindYourFutures feeling inspired and confident with a much clearer idea of where you're headed and how to get there.

Our PD night will feature Guest Speakers from various fields of Speech Pathology, including: Private Practice, Department of Justice, Department of Education and Brisbane Catholic Education.

Make sure you don't miss out!!

Week 1 Back!

We had a ball at Orientation Day, and again at Market Day last week. Thanks to everyone who came to visit our Speech Pathology Society Stall, and interacted with us by playing games and winning prizes! We had a lot of laughs and enjoyed promoting the profession with students from other faculties.

Hoodies Update!

We have been patiently awaiting the arrival of our BSPS Hoodies, they are due to arrive this week!
If you have already pre-ordered your hoodie, you will be contacted by email to advise of a pick up time from Student Life.

If you haven't ordered yours yet, what are you waiting for? Click here to check out the store.

It's Competition Time!

The Brisbane Speech Pathology Society wants to encourage their members to be part of SPA in 2021-2022. We are offering to cover the $66 SPA membership fee for one lucky student!

A Speechie is good at ‘finding words’, so what better way to select a winner than with a word search comp!

Click here to download an entry form. Winners will be drawn in Speech Pathology week, in week 5. Goodluck!
