From: What's on Blacktown Date: March 13, 2022 Subject: Get ready for free food, fun and fantastic events
Dear First_Name
Now that you’re into the semester we’re hoping you’ve found your study vibe again and are signing up to clubs and societies or renewing your friendships in them. You’ve no doubt already made your way to one of the fantastic food trucks on campus for lunch with friends, and maybe you’ve found some great spots around campus to simply chill. If you have a quiet moment right now, and if you haven’t already done so, download the ACU Life app for iPhone (coming soon for Android) for easy access to a whole lot of events on campus and online. You don’t need to wait for the fortnightly “What’s on” newsletter to discover what’s available, so happy browsing of the events and groups ready to welcome you.
To celebrate our rich diversity at our Blacktown Campus we are excited to announce the launch our inaugural recipe book. We want to bring together some recipes from our students and staff - sharing our stories, through food.
How good is our Blacktown community?
We've loved connecting with everyone over the past weeks, and we can't wait to keep connecting. Come join us for our breakfast club on Tuesdays, our soul food cafe on Wednesdays, and our random acts of kindness day to help us spread some love & kindness. Find us on the ground floor, or email Maddy at madeline.forde@acu.edu.au
Get involved
Have you considered joining one of our brilliant clubs or societies in Blacktown? With a handful to choose from, you can get involved with the Korean and Japanese Culture Club, our Blacktown Nursing Society and more. Better yet, if there isn't a club or society in Blacktown that seems right for you - you can just start your own! Reach out today and email your Student Life Officer Tully at tully.jocumsen@acu.edu.au
