We hope you’ve been able to take part in some of the co-curricular activations and events this semester. We’re already starting to think about next year and hope that you might be able to spare five minutes and complete the Student Service and Amenities (SSAF) survey. The link was sent to your student email or you can access it under the evaluations section in LEO. By completing the survey, you are providing valuable feedback on how your SSAF could be allocated in 2023. Now for the fun stuff… students who complete the SSAF survey will go into a draw for a chance to win an Apple Watch or Flight Centre voucher in the amount of $500. The survey will close on Sunday 18 September 2022. If you experience any technical difficulties or have any questions, please contact evaluations.cei@acu.edu.au. We look forward to receiving your feedback and thank you in advance for your participation.
Looking for a way to get active this semester? Want to play sport without having to buy all the gear and make a lengthy commitment? Let off some study steam and hustle the squad for some friendly competition at our lunchtime social sport sessions at The Showground and Courts (Francis Park) Blacktown every Wednesday.
We will be changing it up each week with different sports such as basketball, oztag, futsal and spikeball. Stay tuned to see what's on offer weekly.
Join a conversation with Sabrina Stevens, National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholic Youth Councillor and Youth Engagement Officer for Caritas Australia.
Sabrina will take the time to explore our Care for Creation, and help facilitate a space of curiosity and learning.
Join us on 16 September @ 6.30pm at ACU Blacktown Campus.
It’s our national day of action when we remind Australians that every day is the day to ask, ‘are you OK?’ and start a meaningful conversation whenever they spot the signs that someone they care about might be struggling with life.
We'll be spreading awareness with free food, music, activities and more!
Social oztag competition
Keen to play Oztag? Lace up your boots and represent ACU in the purple and red in your local oztag competition at Woodcroft. We are looking for players for the mixed Summer competition starting late September. The competition will run Tuesday nights until end of January, with game times between 6pm and 9pm. It is $90 registration for students and $110 for non ACU students, so hustle your friends and register now. Oztag 2022 Registration
