Can you feel that slight chill in the air now that we’re into May? We are definitely at the business end of the semester now, so hoping you’re happily ticking off assignments and other tasks in the lead up to exams. Enjoy engaging with the variety of pop-up and planned activities available on campus provided by the co-curricular teams. No doubt the clubs and societies to which you belong will also be connecting with you. Become a ‘Hot Shot’, grab some free food, sharpen up your Finska skills or take a reflective moment in the chapel – it’s all possible at ACU.
Ever wanted to throw an axe? Then grab your ticket to The Track Brisbane Track trip to Maniax axe throwing. Drink, pizza and a whole heap of fun will be provided. Rally up your mates, but get in quick, tickets are limited.
Come and connect in discussions of faith and life. Thursday at 1pm in the Campus Ministry Lounge
We will be learning what it means to be "saved" as we journey through St Paul's letter to the Romans. This bible study requires no prep! Get ready for great conversation and learning. As always, snacks are provided.
It's been a great time to be on campus at beautiful Banyo. The sun has been shining and the good times are rolling. There are some cool events ahead with Star Wars Week - you might even see Obi Wan Kenobi behind the BBQ. Students are invited to make a Mother's Day card in Week 10 - see you on the lawn for some cards made with love.
Take up the challenge
Looking for a fun and challenging way to improve your fitness and support a great cause at the same time? Look no further than The Push-Up Challenge! This annual event encourages participants to complete a set number of push-ups every day for 25 days, while raising money and awareness for mental health initiatives across Australia. Join the ACU Sport Team and take up the challenge!
Easter continues
A little-known fact about Easter is that it continues for 50 days after Easter Sunday. For many Christians, the Easter season is still well underway, with its conclusion coming on 18 May. So although all the chocolate has sold out of the shops and many have moved on, it is still a time of joy, hope and renewal. If that sounds like something you want, come past the Campus Ministry lounge and celebrate this Easter season with Campus Ministry.
