Finish your week fiercly at the week two Track Trip to MANIAX in Newstead. Hurl some axes, eat some pizza, make some new friends and relieve some of that start of semester stress in possibly the most badass of ways, all for a cheeky $5.
Is it really about depleting one’s supply of eggs, milk, butter and fat? The short answer is, yes! Shrove Tuesday is the last day of what was traditionally called "Shrovetide", the week preceding the beginning of Lent. Many Catholics around the world take a 40 day Lenten journey from Ash Wednesday to Easter, fasting from unnecessary delicacies, to allow oneself to better focus on renewing faith and to take time for extra prayer; anticipating the Easter celebration (the essence of the Christian belief - that Jesus died and that He rose again).

Market Day is our chance to welcome new and returning students to beautiful Banyo. This year the event will run over two days, because there's just so much to see and do. Don't miss your opportunity to see what ACU and our community have to offer. You can join the campus students association (MCASA), eat free food, hear great music, play some games and hear from some special showcase organisations like Sea Shepherd and Headspace.
