The co-curricular teams have a full schedule of events, activities and activations planned throughout the semester and we’d love for you to get involved. With over 150 groups to join across ACU campuses and countless events planned, we know we can help you find where you belong.
Join us for a fun, relaxed event where we can come together, get to know each other, hang out, eat some food and gather with old friends and make some news one too. Hope to see you there!
It's the start of the 2022 ACU Year and the campus is open. Meet Student Life, ACU Sport, Campus Ministry, Aquinas Student association and other services offered at ACU. We will be joined by a number of external suppliers coming along offering jobs, give aways, merch, deals and more. A special treat at the event will be a delicious variety of gelato supplied by Il Piccolo Ballarat.
So exciting to start the week off with Shrove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday, Market Day and Welcome Party and then Week 2 will also have our Campus Feast Day. At the start of the semester feel free to get involved with as much as possible so you can find out where you want to spend your precious time. You will always find Campus Ministry to be a place of belonging so make sure to come to our Welcome Party. Hope to see you there.
Student clubs and societies
You realise that there is a life outside the classroom, right?
ACU clubs and societies are a great way to meet people, make friends, learn new things and hone your leadership skills. At Ballarat we have 4 very active student clubs: Nursing, Paramedicine, Physiotherapy and LGBTIQ+. These clubs offer a range of activities and events to help further your learning and have fun outside the classroom. All club activities are promoted in the What's On (see above) so you'll never miss out. And we're always interested in hearing about your ideas for new clubs. Yoga? Chess? Film appreciation? We're open to anything that you think will enhance campus life. All you need is an interest and at least nine other people to make it happen. High performance basketball
ACU Sport's high performance basketball program provides opportunities for students to be part of a development pathway while achieving success in their academic lives. The program will be the steppingstone to entering the University Basketball League (UBL) in 2023.
